Built on Expertise. Driven by Commitment.
Belveal Construction was founded on a simple belief: that the people building your home should care about it as much as you do. For over 26 years, that belief has guided every decision we make — from the subcontractors we hire, to the materials we specify, to the details we catch on-site before they become problems.
The Builder
Brent is a Boise native with a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering and more than two decades of construction experience spanning commercial and residential builds. He started in commercial construction in 1999 — car washes, office buildings, restaurants, dental offices, educational facilities — developing a structural knowledge that goes deeper than most builders ever acquire. When he made the move to residential construction in 2010, he brought that same precision with him.
Today, Brent is on the job site every single day. He’s not managing from an office — he’s walking the build, asking hard questions, and making sure every detail meets the standard he’s built his reputation on. He’s constantly learning, following emerging trends in building science and construction technology, because a 26-year career hasn’t made him complacent — it’s made him better.
When he’s not building, Brent is out in Idaho doing what Idahoans do — dirt biking, fishing, hunting, boating, and spending time with the people he builds homes for.
The Partner
Barb brings a rare combination of skills to every project — and to every client relationship. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science and a background that spans design coordination, financial management, scheduling, and real estate (she’s a licensed Idaho Realtor), Barb keeps the entire build process organized, transparent, and on track.
But what sets Barb apart isn’t just her resume. It’s how she communicates. She’s the reason clients always know where their project stands. She manages the construction schedule, coordinates the team, and bridges the gap between the financial realities of a build and the vision a family is working toward. If you ever have a question or concern, Barb is the kind of person who actually picks up the phone.
She’s also the one cheering on teenage volleyball players in her off hours — which tells you everything you need to know about who she is.
Together, they’re building something bigger than homes.
Twenty-six years in, Brent and Barb aren’t slowing down. They’re still learning, still showing up, and still holding the line on quality in a market that sometimes rewards cutting corners. Every home they build is part of a legacy — one that will outlast trends and stand as a testament to what it means to build something right.
If you’re ready to build a custom home in the Boise area, we’d love to talk.
